It's past time. This is the new phase of AAGD and Facebook is not the platform for us to continue growth.
Don't worry, we're trying to make the transition as painless as possible.

Denishia, we thank you for all your years of support! You rock!
Can't just keep giving Facebook our data.
It doesn't provide us with the options our community needs.
Also, we keep getting reported. Meta has threatened to shut everything down.
(Meta has already shut down our first Instagram account.🖕)
Stage One | August Because of the economy, layoffs, and initiatives that involve younger Black creatives, we've segmented our membership site to have a few free spaces. https://bit.ly/aagd_free.
Stage Two | September We're setting up blackout dates to pause the group weekly for 2-3 days—to make sure you know we are proceeding with the process.
In September, we'll only be offering the $50 plan. And only the admins will be able to post.
Stage Three | November · We'll shut down the ability for anyone to comment. · We'll make the group public, anyone can join. · We'll release our admins from monitoring Facebook. · We'll keep the group as an archive and only use Facebook to promote events in the membership site and job postings.
Change is never easy but it is necessary.
